Adam Knowles is a professional team roper and steer wrestler on the Australian Professional Rodeo Circuit.
He started his rodeo obsession at the age of thirteen when he first met Andrew McQualter-Whyte at his property just outside of Yarrawonga. Since then he has worked breaking and training horses all over Australia. Recently he returned from a long while in the Kimberley to take up rodeoing again hoping to fulfill his dream of winning an Australian Title.
Adam’s current team of horses include; Inspector Frost known as Roanie a red roan gelding who is his steer wrestling horse, Kalvale Playboy Isle O Cat known as Zan a chestnut gelding who team ropes and hazes. Then there is Sterling, a grey gelding who jumps in wherever he is needed.
Adam travels on the professional rodeo circuit with his young family sometimes taking him as far north as Mt Isa. On these long trips he loves Multicube products especially the compressed lucerne bales and lucerne hay cubes because they are easy to store for transport and travel well with little wastage. They also keep his performance horses feeling fresh and at their best. Adam has qualified again for this year’s National Finals in November at Gracemere, Queensland.
“My favourite Multicube product would have to be the lucerne hay cubes. I mix these into my horse feeds daily with a bit of water I find them easy to manage, transport and they keep my performance horses competing at their best especially when we travel long distances into hotter climates.”
